Originally from Kansas City, MO, I took a leap of faith and moved to NYC without ever visiting before over a decade ago. Best decision ever!

I hold a B.S. in Photography from the University of Central Missouri, where I graduated Cum Laude with a deep love for storytelling through imagery.

Whether I’m watercolor painting, experimenting with new art mediums, tending to my garden, or creating for YouTube, I’m always inspired by the beauty around me.

Beyond capturing stunning portraits, I’m passionate about teaching photography, lighting, editing, and self-portrait techniques. I lead workshops, offer lessons, and have had the privilege of speaking at conferences to share my love for this craft.

In 2020, I founded Exploring Creativity with Brandi Nicole , a free Facebook group designed to bring together like-minded creatives for motivation, inspiration, and artistic exploration.
